Objective: Look at different ways of utilising collage as an image-making strategy

Here I have made the girl's legs larger. Personally, I think the scaled up image does not look that bizarre. However, it does add a "heavier" effect like as if the girl would be taking larger and louder footsteps.

For this second artwork, i have chosen to make copies of various sizes. I chose to focus on the butterfly. I cut out butterflies of different scales and stuck it onto the original artwork. I think this alters the image by emphasizing on the butterfly to a larger extent. The collaged version of the artwork seems to add a little more dimension to the artwork due to the varying sizes. I also feel that it adds a little more magical feel to the artwork.

For my final collage, I decided to combine all three images. I also chose to focus on repetition by using the second collage as well as repeated images of the first artwork. I think this final collage piece sets a very cheery vibe due to the nature element. I think the black and white swallows stand out well from the rest of the colourful images.
